Sanmedru's fire / Focul lui Sumedru

Sanmedru's Fire is an ancient tradition in Romania. It is said that if a person comes to see the fire and that if he can jump over the fire, that person will have luck in the next year. The fire of Sumedru it is on the 25th of octomber night.



Focul lui Sumedru este o veche tradiţie din România. Se spune că o persoana care vine sa vadă focul şi daca poate să sară peste foc, acea persoană va avea noroc tot anul următor. Focul lui Sumedru este in seara de 25 octombrie.

Candesti-Vale my village / Candesti-Vale satul meu

Candesti is a village located in the district of Dambovita and it is also the village that I Iive in. Is located on the left side of the Dambovita river which passes through the capital of Romania, Bucharest.
The people that live here deal with fruit growing.



Cândeşti este un sat localizat în judeţul Dâmboviţa şi este satul in care traiesc. Este aflat pe partea stângă a râului Dâmboviţa care trece prin capitala României, Bucureşti şi se varsă apoi in fluviul Dunărea.
Oamenii care trăiesc aici se ocupă cu pomicultura.

''Matei Grigore Vladeanu''

Matei Gr. Vladeanu is the name of the school where I study and it is also the name of the man that founded the school. My school was the first ECO school in the district and won many awards in this program called ECO School.



Matei Grigore Vlădeanu este numele şcolii în care învăţ şi este numele omului care a înfiinţat şcoala. Şcoala mea a fost prima ECO şcoală din judeţ şi a câştigat multe premii in acest program numit ECO Şcoala.
